You can request account deletion from your Profile page. We'll email you a confirmation link — once you click it, your account and personal data are deleted immediately.
Booking & Inquiries
Open any property listing and use the inquiry form to send the host a message. When the host replies, you'll get an email with a link to read it in your inbox.
StayInFuerte charges no platform fees. For direct bookings you pay the host and keep full control. Some listings may link to an external platform — in those cases that platform's fees apply.
Inquiries are messages, not confirmed reservations — get in touch with the host and let them know you'd like to cancel. It's then up to the host how to proceed.
No. You can message a host without creating an account — simply fill in the contact form on the property page. Listings whose owner has not joined StayInFuerte yet show a claim option instead of the form until the owner takes over the page.
You can check reviews and ratings on external platforms where a listing links to one. We also display VV licence numbers where provided.
Payment is agreed directly between you and the property owner. Common options include bank transfer, PayPal, or payment on arrival.
Absolutely. Because you contact the owner directly, you can discuss price, length of stay, and any special requirements.
How StayInFuerte Works
We list holiday rentals in Fuerteventura only, and we're a noticeboard rather than a booking system. You message the owner from the property page and agree dates, price and terms directly with them. There's no service fee added to your stay and no commission taken from theirs, which is why direct prices are often lower. The trade-off is honest: no instant confirmation and no card payment through us. Where a listing also appears on another platform, we link to it, so you can still book that way if you prefer.
Treat it like any direct booking and keep everything in writing. Ask for a written confirmation with the full address, your dates, the total price, what the deposit covers and the cancellation terms. Check the VV licence number on the listing (the Canary Islands registration for a holiday home) and the ratings we import from platforms like Booking.com. Ask questions and see how the owner answers. A genuine owner will happily provide all of this. If someone avoids these questions, pushes you to transfer the full amount immediately, or refuses to put anything in writing, don't pay — and let us know at [email protected].
Yes, and we'd suggest you do. Send your dates to three or four properties you like — in July and August the good ones go quickly, and not everyone replies at the same speed. Each conversation stays separate in your inbox, and nothing is reserved until you and an owner agree it.
Not our own reviews yet. Where a property also appears on Booking.com, Airbnb or a similar site, we show that platform's rating and review count, clearly marked as coming from them. We'd rather show you a score built on hundreds of stays than a handful of unverified reviews of our own.
Give it two or three days. Many owners here rent out one or two flats alongside another job and answer in the evenings. If you still hear nothing, message another property — you've committed to nothing. Tell us as well at [email protected]: we chase owners who go quiet and remove listings we can't reach.
